  • Not finding what you're looking for? Try these search tips.

    To find: EXACTLY these words
Typing "San Antonio" (the words you're looking for in quotation marks) will find items with those exact words in sequence. Without the quotation marks, you could wind up with many other listings containing the words San or Antonio. One word AND another If you need to search on more than one word, simply enter all the words you are looking for. Entering Holiday Six Flag Park will search for all items that contain the words Holiday and Six and Flag and Park - in any order. An item containing only 3 of the 4 will not occur in the results If you want to search on words in a particular order, enclose them in "". For example, museum "state history" will only find results that contain museum and the words state and history in this order. "history state" will not be flagged nor would "state texas history" As you add more words, the search becomes more specific, thus yielding generally fewer results. SPANISH words
TravelTex stores information on some items in Spanish. If you are viewing the site in Spanish Only, search will look any word you type in the Spanish titles and Spanish text. If you are viewing the site in a combination of Spanish and English, both Spanish and English titles and text will be searched. Ignored words
Like most search engines, TravelTex ignores common English words, such as a, is, or the, which do not help when searching for specific text. Special terms AND, OR should not be within quotes because it will return incorrect results.

TravelTex ignores numbers, individual letters, $, and underline. It treats AND and OR as special words. The list is the same whether you are viewing the TravelTex in English, Spanish Only, or a combination of Spanish and English. for the complete list of ignored words.
